Too Sexy... Episode 2

His name is Abid; he's sexy and he's Bangladeshi. I'd like to remain a purist--this site is for the Sri Lankan male. But sometimes I just have to cross the boundaries a bit and this time it is with an attractive Bangladeshi bodybuilder-model captured in pixels by Bangladeshi photographer Apurbo.

It is interesting that there are those somewhat amorphous characteristics that identify a person as belonging to a given ethnicity or nationality. In a derogatory sense there is the comment, "All [insert nationality here] look alike."



That statement isn't, well, completely untrue. There are certain physical and other traits that would seem to make it possible to identify a person's nationality. I find this the case with many Sri Lankans, where there are those features which just enable one to say, Yeah, he's Sri Lankan or conversely No way! He's Indian.

And so it is with Abid.

His eyes, lips, face... all say Bangladeshi! Mostly his eyes, I'd say.

It is a look that I like.

Bangladehi male names, too--usually Islamic, often hyphenated--seem to more than hint that the subject of interest is Bangladeshi.

Like Kamal-Hasan or Mohammed-Atiq.

The particular spelling or the first and second parts of the combination often seem particular to Bangladeshis, even though the Arabic used is more or less universal.


Abid is both hot & sweet at the same time.

Abid's defining features are his well developed torso, smooth tan complexion and distinctive Bangladeshi looks.


His expression is stoic, which seems all the more to accentuate his thick, full-lips and masculine physique.

A last look at Abid is one to leave a lasting impression.

The look is smart--debonair.

His dark oval-shaped eyes, cast askance, seem to suggest a person who is dependable and trustworthy--who is also deferential and respectful of others.

His luscious lips and oh so slightly dimpled chin stand out handsomely against the elegant black shirt.

While surely the quiet type, he seems both athletic and intelligent, perhaps the Banglideshi version of the young, urban professional.
