Bangladeshi Fashion Male--Supplement

I have found myself again visiting the online catalog that features these stylish Bangladeshi digs--and this one exotic and attractive model in particular.

I just had to do this brief reprise. It is the colors and the stylings that are, oh my, so rich!

The outfit is called the panjabi and in this instance, the short panjabi.

Although traditional, these designs are obviously modern. The bright colors and patterns are without a doubt contemporary.

This brief supplemental post is meant to highlight both the beauty of the clothing and the stunning features of the model. Whereas traditional male clothing is often rather subdued, these Bangladeshi male fashions are the ultimate expression of boldness.
Heaven is in the Detail

The detail in the embroidery is exquisite, and the accessories add the perfect accent.
The combination of color, lines, buttons and beads is stunning.
The model's features are so seductive.
I am transfixed!
The Taller Picture

As nice as the detail is, there is nothing like the full image. The modern short panjabi is a fine article of clothing. Its full beauty is striking when seen in the whole.

Gorgeous isn't a word normally used to describe the male look, but I don't think there is a more apt word in this case.

The colors and patterns are splendid and the man whom they adorn is the jewel.

As the model demonstrates, this style is about youth and a contemporary look.

He wears neither a lungi nor formal trousers under the low hanging panjabi. Instead he's dressed in torn, faded jeans.

What a match! This is great styling.

OK, you won't catch me in any of these. I am neither young nor sexy enough... tsk tsk.

That may be the only problem with such beautiful clothing. The man wearing it has to be equally beautiful.

New Images.... More Contemporary Stylings

Wow! Amazing Bangladeshi styling.

More Men, More Fashion

The boy next door... One can only wish!
I have learnt now that there are four shirt types for the Bangladeshi male:

the panjabi (pictured right), the short panjabi, the sherwani and the fatua.

It is the short panjabi featured in most of the images here which has that great mix of traditional and contemporary.

Our boy next door model looks great in the common Western casual shirt and in the different variations (above) on the short panjabi.

The world of Bangladeshi male fashion is new to me and I must say that I am very much impressed.

Why not save the best for last?

Return for more Bangladeshi fashion males to come...

I saw today (26-Mar-09), or rather noticed today for the first time, a man wearing the short panjabi (at Times Square, Dubai). It didn't look at all as nice as these, nor the man wearing it, but it was a start for me... a newly born short panjabi spotter!
