Never2Brown

I'm hooked on the beautiful brown men of the South!

Am I the only one so ensnared?
And is it the deep brown complexion, the dark brown eyes or the modest stature of the men that makes the Southern men of India and the men of Sri Lanka so attractive? Is it not the combination of all of the above, with the added measure of brawn thrown in? The muscle men of Chennai are especially attractive... like many of those irresistible bodybuilders featured in the Arabmuscle.net forum. Featured male personality in this Sri Lankan Male post is Chennai bodybuidler, Mr. M. Bharani. |
The REAL MEN of Chennai--Edition 12

Somebody ↑ you'd probably wanna have as a friend. ↓

So, my hero is a 5'6" dark-skinned, young man from southern India whose claim to fame is a bodybuilder's winning physique.

That's all I know about him.
But with a set of his images on file at Arabmuscle.net, that is more than enough for me to pronounce that he's the man!
What is it about Chennai that gets so many young men into the gyms?
It must be a mix of genes, diet and and a solid workout routine that builds such perfection. I really like what I see going on there.

The trick is discipline... You know, I just keep up a regular routine. Gym everyday--five or six times a week. I have a non-veg diet and I run, too. I couldn't do it without the other guys in the gym, too. They spot me, they tell me what supplements work. It's a lot of different things that I have to do to get the way I am. I work hard!

Wow. That's admirable. You really have something to be proud of. So when do you expect to be crowned Mr. Chennai--in your weight class, that is? Or better yet Mr. Tamil Nadu?
Actually, I'm not that ambitious. I mean, I just want to compete and be on the stage with all the other guys. If I win, that's an added bonus.
And what about the prize money?
That's part of it. We all would like that. But it's not that much. We don't get so much even when we win. It's really about how we look and how we feel onstage.
I think you've got what it takes to be a champion. We'll be watching.
Best of luck, Mr. Bharani!!

The photos here date from the 2007 Mr. India
Contest in Nellore (A.P.).
His size, build and 60kg weight at the time seemed to be optimal in terms of producing a good-looking, well-proportioned physique.
I feel bodybuilders should aim for such an ideal balanced form and then work further only to maintain it.
But most seem, instead, to continue to build mass, having learnt the secret of doing so.
They grow larger and larger in size, eventually losing the more optimal weight, mass and tone they once had.
This young bodybuilder was at his optimum in 2007--body perfect, body beautiful.I don't know where he is now, build-wise. I have never met Mr. Bharani and likely--regrettably--never will. But if I could I would say to him first of all, magnificent.
What incredible work he has done and how great-looking the end result.
But I would hasten to add some words of advice...
Dear friend,
Don't put on too much mass. Moderate size and good muscle tone would seem to be the best any young bodybuilder has to strive for. You have achieved an enviable feat. You have made yourself strong, fit and handsome.
I'd say you've already reached the goal. Stay right where you are!

How brown is best, then?
What's the quintessential most beautiful tone?
Naturally darker people like to get fairer, naturally fair Europeans like to get darker. It's a matter of taste, of course, and culturally based social prejudices. But when it comes to the handsome men of South Asia, I say quite simply, one can never be too brown!
Brown is so beautiful! ↓

There is something about his eyes, his half-smile, the stubble on his chin, the pendant on a string hanging from his neck, his muscular build and its perfect symmetry... the beauty of the Tamil male.
