The Bull of Madurai

Tamil Nadu's over 400 year-old bull-taming festival, popularly known as Jallukattu, has once again been a bloody affair. At least 72 competitors were hurt, 11 of them seriously, in the popular event in Alanganallur in Madurai district.

♂9. The bull is very much an emblematic beast. He symbolizes raw strength and power, virility, masculinity and dominance.

In some manifestations of gay subculture there is the master/slave dynamic.

Though mostly the stuff of fantasy, there is the dominant master who is seen as a protector even while he dishes out a sort of cruel kindness.

I am not one who is into this fantasy, except to imagine a powerful male or bull of this bodybuilder's ilk, somehow enveloping me with a mass that comprises warm muscle, flesh and sweat along with a semi-pungent bodily scent--in a kind of animalistic sensuality.

Now that conjures up something alluring, doesn't it!

That is my fantasy of a sensuous and powerful Madurai bull. It may be a kind of hero worship, or an imagined ideal. But when you see that which is so powerful, beautiful and essentially irresistible, you want to worship it. Does it mean then that you sing Its praises or do you just masturbate? Anyway, I have to say I prefer this sort of human god, which although bestowed with imagined grandeur, is at least a reality in the flesh and something to behold as real in the physical world. The god of religion is no less a figment of the imagination, but it lacks even any physical manifestation that can be admired in the real world.
That's my anti-religion coming out here, folks. But I do indeed like the beautiful things that religion inspires like temples, statues and so many other works of art. This sacred bull of Madurai in the manifestation of a bodybuilder is like a beautiful, incarnation of a black Lord Krishna.

YMCA

♂10. Young Men's Christian Association, or maybe the YMBA, Young Men's Buddhist Association would be more appropriate for Sri Lanka.

In the USA I believe it is a bit of an oxymoron. One need neither really be young or Christian, although the male part still applies.

In any case this young blood, Chennai bodybuilder would be a good model for the YMCA image. Like the hit song of the disco era, the YMCA is all about young men and the things that young men and their male admirers enjoy.

Take a cursory look at the YMBA website and it looks very Buddhist and male, but not at all young. The Sri Lankan YMCA, on the other hand, does appear quite true to its namesake. The website even lists hotel accommodations in the Negombo area.

I would love to hear from any Sri Lankan Male aficionado members of these organizations.

Body Mass Index

♂11. This is one bodybuilder who seems to tip the scales. Dare I say he appears more mass than muscle, but in some of his photos that it just the thing that gives him a body beautiful.

Uninitiated in the craft, I wonder how most bodybuilders really develop so much mass. Is it purely from eating foods rich in protein and carbohydrates or is it just eating lots of everything? Perhaps it's the protein drinks and other concoctions that do the trick. Bodybuilders, I'd really love to know what your secret is.

I am sure the key is to get big, while not getting fat.

So, this I imagine is the kind of mass many bodybuilder's aspire to. This kind of bulk in a man is quite impressive to see. But what a challenge it must be to maintain, to sculpt and to keep in harmony with the rest of the body. You've got to somehow have strong bones, good elasticity, good posture and good blood circulation.

♂12. Black men are so attractive... It is as though dark equates to seductive. And dark also suggests the sinewy movements of a black cobra or a more sensually poisonous black dick.

Black is the way to go in Indian or Sri Lankan men!

♂13. I don't know when it is that I first discovered the beauty of Tamil men. But I can surely say that I am now well smitten.

Now who could disagree that the little smile of the young bodybuilder is so attractive. A little bit of scraggly hair on his upper lip, chest and underarms or just the thing to make the young man look oh-so sexy.

At the Gym

♂14. Those of us who make the gym workout part of our routine are surely in the minority.

Just do it... Go to the gym today and start. Anyone has got to be able to make an improvement to his physique, even if not reaching the heights of the real men on these pages. It has to be about the workout and the knowledge.
