Voyeurism involves the act of observing an unsuspecting person in the process of disrobing or engaging in sexual activity. Exhibitionism involves the exposure of one’s genitals to an unsuspecting stranger.

Are you a voyeur, an exhibitionist or both?
There is a psychological or mental health component to these two terms, which I prefer to put aside.
My real question is do you enjoy seeing Garrie Pattie for his handsome exposé or would you fancy being a Garrie Pattie yourself?
Are you a voyeur of sorts--a connoisseur of the South Indian male?
Hands up, please!
"Guilty am I," as charged. I am a voyeur of the South (North, East, West, and Central) Indian, Sri Lankan and Bangladeshi male!
Are you a South Indian exhibitionist, of the ilk of Garrie Pattie?

What does it take to be so self-assured?

Have you, too, got an exhibitionist bent?

It is interesting how much we (humanity) are so much like each other while also being so different.
I am not inhibited--take whatever photos you like--but I have no inclination toward self exhibition.
But I remember as a child, whenever seeing a group photo in which I appeared, I wanted first and foremost to find my own image.
There was a guilty pleasure in seeing my own photo on the wall in my family home or even having one discreetly displayed on the top of my own desk.
But now it strikes me as odd to see someone displaying their own photo in their own space.

If you can, try to recall Scarlet O'hara's grand portrait over the mantle of her own fireplace in Gone With the Wind.
As a cinema viewer it was quite awe inspiring to see a portrait of such a stunning starlet, but isn't it rather vain to feature oneself so prominently in one's own home?
Still, whether self-confidence or narcissism, thank goodness for the Garrie Patties of the world! Some people have it and some people don't, but it is more than that.
It is a real talent to know how to appear before the camera lens.
Thank you, Garrie Pattie.
